About the founder
At the heart of Nexus Tradelink LLC stands Mr. Vimit Makkar, a visionary entrepreneur who has redefined the global metal recycling landscape through innovation, integrity, and sustainability. With over eight years of hands-on experience in international metal scrap trading, Mr. Makkar began his journey in India, where he founded Bhagwati International, a company that quickly emerged as one of the leading importers and processors of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap. His strong business acumen, deep market insight, and relentless drive for excellence have enabled him to expand operations across more than 20 countries — building long-standing relationships with suppliers and recyclers across the USA, Europe, UK, Canada, and Asia.
Now, through Nexus Tradelink LLC, headquartered in Dubai, Mr. Makkar envisions creating a dynamic bridge between global scrap suppliers and Asian recycling industries, unlocking new trade opportunities and advancing the global circular economy.
